Steve’s Personal Background

Originally from Edina, Minnesota, I received my degree from Northern Michigan University, I have lived and worked on Sanibel-Captiva since the mid 70's and have been successfully involved in the real estate industry since 1984. I enhanced my professional qualifications by obtaining my State Broker’s license the following year. Outside of real estate, I enjoy being with my wife and two children, playing ice hockey for the Florida Edge, year round outdoor sports and enjoying the Island way of life.

Maxine’s Personal Background

Originally from upstate New York, I lived in the Yukon Territory, Canada for nine years before moving to Florida. I obtained my Florida Real Estate and Broker’s Licenses and joined the Sanibel-Captiva Board of Realtors in 1987. Steve and I became a professional team, pooling our knowledge and time to better assist every client. When I am not working or with my family, I volunteer on many local committees, and have been a Guardian ad Litem for Lee County.

Professional Background

Our involvement with National, Florida, Sanibel-Captiva and Fort Myers Associations of REALTORS has been very rewarding. Since joining the RE/MAX organization, we have been recognized as one of RE/MAX's National and International Top Producers, and have been inducted into the RE/MAX International Hall of Fame. This level of service represents the top 1% of REALTORS.

Community Involvement

As RE/MAX team associates, members of the Sanibel-Captiva Chamber of Commerce and as long time island residents we have worked on numerous fund raising projects to benefit many local charities, non profit organizations and deserving individuals. We are members of the Children's Miracle Network which benefits numerous children's charities.
